JBS Lawsuit

The story of the JBS lawsuit is all over the news and it is causing a lot of stir. Recently a senior manager from JBS, one John Sullivan was arrested in London on suspicion of conspiracy to fraudulently defraud the company. He is being investigated for possible bribery of government officials. The charges against him come on the heels of a corruption scandal at the meatpacking industry where JBS acquired a huge stake through a secret deal. This means that this scandal has cut to the core of the business and it could have serious consequences for the rest of the world’s meatpacking industry.

There is a huge problem with JBS because there is no way of knowing what the company’s true intentions are. There are rumors circulating that the company plans to buy out its current competitor, John Deere. It also has stated that it plans to expand into other areas of the meatpacking industry, such as frozen food.
